Delta Oil Mill was formed in
1942 as an A.A.L. Cooperative by a group of cotton
gins in the surrounding area to purchase the
cottonseed oil mill in Jonestown, Mississippi
from Eastman
Cotton Oil Company. In 1949, Delta Oil Mill was
reorganized as a Mississippi corporation that
functions as a cooperative through its by-laws.
We have sustained steady growth over the years
by both expanding our facility in Jonestown several
times and purchasing storage facilities at Crenshaw,
Mississippi and Tunica, Mississippi, as well as the PYCO Midsouth assets, which include the processing plant at Greenwood, Mississippi, and their storage facilities at Minter City, Mississippi, and Helena, Arkansas.
